One of the many new industries out there is technology. Technology has came a long way. People back in the "day" used to have to go to libraries to find out information on a certain topic. Now
people can just sit at home and turn on their tv's or get on their computers and find out what has been going on in the world. Technology is always new. There is always something new with technology. There is new equipment always coming out so that means that there is always new procedures out. Around the 1980's Senator Robert C. Byrd proposed the development of the Software Valley in an effort to get more businesses and more people into Morgantown.  In 1991, the FBI began trying to make its fingerprinting ID program.. It was finally completed in July 1995. They employed about 2,800 workers in 2001. It became operational operational on July 28th, 1999. In the fall of 2001 the agency had about 42 million figerprints. After the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001 the agency had stricter laws in airports.
